We take seriously that clinical systems needs to be extremely roboust, safe, fast, and easy to use and a great deal of our research and development (R&D) is targeted to improve our technology accordingly.
- ... being based on the latest research within Pervasive Healthcare technology. Cetrea's products are a new generation of system solutions, which are fundametally different from existing information technology solutions used in hospitals. From a technology point of view, we are using large interactive displays, mobile technology (mobile phones and PDAs), video media spaces, and indoor location tracking of staff and patients. From a usability point of view, our vision is to get away from the desktop PC with its mouse and keyboard and support direct interaction using touch, automatic login, and context-aware adaptation of the technology to each specific situation. This is a vision which we are very close to realize.
